Michelle Toomey Kurzman was born in New York City and holds undergraduate degrees in sociology and physiology from the University of South Carolina. Michelle also holds a master’s degree in public health and Epidemiology from New York University. For the past 20 years Michelle has worked as a research scientist, public health advocate, legal assistant and major event planner in remote destinations both domestically and internationally. Always eager for adventure, Michelle has worked throughout the globe. She has conducted field studies while living in Australia, Europe, the Middle East and India. 

An avid lover of sports and music, Michelle can be found on weekends at the NASCAR tracks across the country or music venues enjoying a wide variety of musical artists and live theater. She lives with her 9-year son in Delray Beach, Florida where she is currently enrolled in flight training school while soaring to new heights at Star Entertainment.
